Knockan Crag National Nature Reserve is due to its geological features owned and managed by Scottish Natural Heritage, they have made a car park, there are public toilets and a learning centre that explains the geology of the area.
When you want to walk in the Knockan Crag NNR, there are three waymarked trails with a lot of interesting points and spectacular views of for instance Stac Pollaidh and Cul Mor.
You can find the National Nature Reserve at the A837 in Assynt, between Ullapool (20 min drive) and Lochinver (40 min drive).
