THE CRUACHAN guesT house

The Cruachan Bed and Breakfast (formerly known as the Green Cruachan) is located in Stoer (Assynt), 8 miles North of Lochinver, in the North West Highlands of Scotland directly located on the popular tourist route, Scotland's Route 66.

Our informal bed and breakfast is located in a quiet and rural environment, but nevertheless, the capital of the Highlands (Inverness), can be reached in 2.5 hours.

Cruachan, a former manse is now a comfortable four-bedroom guesthouse. Each room is individually decorated. All bedrooms have en-suite bathrooms, and have the usual facilities, such as tea/coffee, free WiFi, television, hairdryer etc. 

Parking is available on the roadside at the front of the property. 

Please note that we are not able to accommodate:

• Guests under the age of 12

Check in:

• Our check in time is between 4pm and 7pm, outside these times please contact us in advance

Dinner:

• You can have dinner in Kylesku (20 miles | 45 minutes North of our B&B) at Kylesku Hotel or in Lochinver (7 miles | 20 minutes South of our B&B) at Peet's Restaurant , Culag Hotel, An Cala, Inver Lodge Hotel or Delilah's.  Please bear in mind that making a reservation in advance is advisable.
• We can provide you with crockery, cutlery and glasses if you wish to bring your own drinks and food, but please bear in mind that there is no kitchen available to prepare a hot meal.
